You are just 10km away from the Atlantic coast with its beautiful sandy beaches and by car it takes no time. Biarritz is known as a surfers' paradise due to the incredible high waves. For an interesting day out try Bayonne and St. Jean de Luz for a day of culture or for an intimate French pavement cafe or restaurant. A complete contrast to the quiet Basque villages inland, the French Pyrenees.
