This lovely family camp site (or should you say '4 star holiday centre'?) is located just outside famous Pénestin and only 2 km from the Brittany coast. A great place to be because the south coast of Brittany has almost as many sunshine hours as the Côte d'Azur and Pénestin's beaches rank among the best in France Slightly to the north is the idyllic Gulf of Morbihan, a nature reserve scattered with islands, fishing harbours, lighthouses and vantage points in the rocks.

Back at the site there is a lake for exciting canoe trips (canoes can be rented locally) and there is a lovely swimming pool and toddler's pool. The water slide ends up in its own pool. Alongside the lake is a large sports area where games and tournaments are regularly organised. There is a games room and playground; perfect for the children who won't be bored for a second!

The surrounding area is not short of anything; medieval walled Guérande is full of atmosphere. You can take boat trips in the protected Gulf of Morbihan, which is really one big bird sanctuary. Added to this you have world famous menhirs of Carnac (upright stone monoliths), dozens of fishing villages and bays with excellent beaches!
