Camping Le Clos Virgile is a wonderful camp site on the Mediterranean, within walking distance of the lovely beaches of the south of France between Montpellier and Narbonne. The sea is naturally an important attraction for a wonderful camping holiday as is the camp site itself. You'll never be bored for a minute! There are two swimming pools, an exciting water slide and a separate toddlers' pool surrounded by a sun terrace. If you feel like it you can take part with other guests in the fun activities organised by the entertainment team: lively parties followed by relaxed stretching and movement the following morning in the aquagym class. The grounds are level and have many shaded pitches, two playgrounds and various sports facilities. The many flowers and plants give the site a very pleasing ambiance.
The surrounding area is worth the effort; perfect for a day out. To attractive Béziers for example or the water amusement parks at Narbonne and Le Cap d’Agde. Le Cap d'Agde also has a large aquarium well worth visiting. Slightly further east towards Marseille and the Côte d’Azur you will find the large Bassin de Thau inland sea and the beautiful natural parks of the Camargue, famous for its wild horses. Besides this you can breathe in the culture of Montpellier or go for a wonderful canoe trip further inland on the river Orb. Never spoilt for choice!
