General

General
The camp site is named after the most famous tourist attraction in Normandy: the world famous Mont St. Michel. This monastery built on rocks in the sea is just 8 km away! The Saint Michel family camp site is located on level grounds and a brand new reception, shop and restaurant were added in 2005. The sanitation is clean and well maintained and there is a swimming pool for a refreshing dip. The children will enjoy themselves in the playground and with the electronic games.

The flat landscape in this part of Normandy close to Avranches (Basse Normandie) lends itself perfectly to active holidays. You can take endless walks and cycle trips along the coast with ever changing views You can even rent bikes at the camp site. By car you can soon be in the popular resort of Granville with its wide beaches, and in Cancale, famous for its oyster farms. The old town of St. Malo on a rugged rocky coast with lovely beaches and the lovely castle at Combourg are not far away. An area to fall in love with: camping in Normandy on the border with Brittany.
