Schwielowsee Camp Site is located directly on the shores of the Schwielowsee lake close to Potsdam in former East Germany. You can relax under the tall trees which provide welcome shade in the hot summer months.

Schwielowsee Camp Site has its own fine sandy beach with a beach bar and restaurant. Children can let themselves go in the playground, at table tennis or by playing beach ball. You can get fresh bread and soft drinks at the camp site. For provisions you need to go to the nearby village. Boats and bikes can be rented about 200 metres from the camp site. There are well marked out footpaths around the lake and in the surrounding woods.

A day trip to Berlin and Potsdam from Schwielowsee Camp Site is not to be missed. Potsdam with its many castles and gardens is 15 km from the camp site. You can enjoy the cultural and culinary highlights of Berlin which you can reach in about half an hour. Shopping in the German capital is also very good.
