Camp site Kirnbergsee

General

General
Kirnbergsee is a camp site in southern Germany on the eastern side of the renowned Schwarzwald (Black Forest) close to Donaueschingen and just north of the Swiss border and the Schaffhausen canton. It is a peaceful and - especially for young children – a friendly camp site on a natural sloping terrain surrounded by densely wooded hills.

It is located right on the lake which bears its name, with beaches where you can swim, surf, fish and hire boats. There is more than enough space for the children to play on the lawns and in the lovely playground. Most of the marked out camping pitches are on grass and are pleasantly sunny. The amenities are good and well kept and you can look out over the water from the restaurant terrace.

And speaking of water the romantic Bodensee is just 50km away with renowned places like Friedrichshafen, Konstanz and Bregenz. Thoroughly recommended for a day trip! You simply must take a boat trip on Europe's third largest lake. Camping Kirnbergsee is also a good place to stop over on your journey to Austria and Switzerland. You'll soon be there!
