You are a guest here in one of the most idyllic camp sites in the Eifel. Ferienpark Waxweiler is located on the banks of the small River Prüm and is ideal for those who love peace and nature. But you won't be at a loss if you prefer staying active. Rent a bike for example and explore the wonderful surroundings. Or go hiking, the Eifel is a walker's paradise.

If you stay on the camp site for a day you can choose a round of tennis or minigolf. You can cast a line in the stream while the children enjoy themselves in the playground. There is an entertainment programme in high season. And naturally there is a real German 'Bierstube' where you can chat to the other camping guests while enjoying a drink and a snack.

There is plenty to see in the area. Pride of place goes to the unique landscape in this part of the Eifel. But don't forget the fascinating towns of Trier and Bitburg. The beautiful hilly nature parks on Luxembourg's eastern borders and the Belgian Ardennes are not far away. You can be at the Nürburgring Formula 1 race course in half an hour.
