Camp site Europe Garden

General

General
A camp site in the green hills of the Abruzzo region, just fifteen minutes drive from the Adriatic at Pescara. Europe Garden lives up to its name: it is a parkland garden with various terraced camping pitches. Plants and trees are everywhere and no two pitches are the same. Some pitches are suitable for tents, others for caravans and motor homes, and all of them have plenty of space, vegetation, shade and privacy. There are also static caravans for rent which sleep 5.

The site has two swimming pools (one with hydromassage). The pool itself is quite basic but the spectacular views of the sea in the distance make it something special. The site's own shuttle bus will take you to the beach in no time; a private beach with its own sun loungers and parasols. You will be pleasantly surprised by the welcoming atmosphere on this site: camping among 400 olive trees, centuries old and offering true relaxation. But for those who want it there is a lively entertainment programme and plenty of room for sport and games. Plus a friendly restaurant and a disco.

The region of Abruzzo surrounds Europe Garden, with unspoilt natural areas such as the Parco Nazionale d’Abruzzo and the Parco Nazionale del Gran Sasso e Monti della Laga. In the Gran Sasso range (literally 'large rock') is the Como Grande, at 2912 metres the highest peak of the Apennines. The town of Chiete with its Roman remains is worth a visit. The Tremiti islands and the capital Rome on the west coast are less than two hours drive from the camp site!
