A camp site right on romantic Lake Maggiore, often referred to as Italy's finest. Orchidea camp site is a small but complete site with plenty of shaded pitches. The location is ideal.

There is a bar and restaurant with lakeside views, a playground, volleyball field, electronic games, billiards and a basic shop. You have direct access to the lake and several beaches from the camp site. There are all types of water sports in the vicinity and the camp site has its own landing stage for boats. Or you can just swim a few lengths and bring the inflatable boat with you for the children.

As for the surroundings, there are many historic villas with ornamental gardens around Lake Maggiore, among them Borromeo on an island. The mountainous region is stunning, and Switzerland is only 35 km away.
