Italy - Lazio - Rome
Camp site Flaminio Village Bungalow Park
General

The information centre on the camp site will help you with public transport, tips about sightseeing in Rome and will help you decide which of the enormous number of places of interest you should visit in Italy's capital. You will need three days to see just the most famous tourist attractions (the Forum Romanum, the Coliseum, Vatican City, St Peter's, the Sistine Chapel, the Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps)! But Rome is not only an open air museum filled with culture and religious monuments, Rome is also a bustling modern city. After a day of walking filled with impressions it is wonderful to enjoy some Italian food or promenade with the Romans around the attractive Piazza Navona in the dusk.
The camp site is a lovely place to recover after a day in Rome. It can be pleasantly busy but you will always find a spot among the vegetation where you can enjoy your holiday in peace.. There are no marked out pitches here, you can choose a nice spot for yourself. There are also three different types of holiday homes for rent which sleep up to 5. The amenities are very comprehensive; internet facilities for example and a large shopping centre and disco just opposite the camp site. The new restaurant serves delicious Italian meals. There is a swimming pool with a solarium and cocktail bar where guests can leave the pace of the city behind by taking a dip followed by a delicious drink. The next day you will have regained enough energy to be overwhelmed by beautiful Rome.
