El-Bahira camp site is located on the sunny island of Sicily in beautiful natural grounds covering 80,000m² among the characteristic dwarf palm trees. The site is close to San Vito Lo Capo on a spit on Sicily's northern coast, just west of the capital Palermo. An unusual feature is the huge swimming pool filled with clear blue water from the Mediterranean. Wonderful for taking a dip or for lying in the sun.

You can walk from the camp site to the beach via a pathway through the rocks. The wide sandy beach at San Vito Lo Capo is 3 km from El-Bahira. You can partake in various sports on the tennis courts or football pitch or, under supervision go deep sea diving! The underwater world on this part of the coast is one of the best on the entire island. This holiday paradise also has a nice trattoria and pizzeria where you can eat well.

There is plenty to see in the vicinity: the nature reserves of Monte Cofano and Zingaro and many historical discoveries in Segesta, Selinunte, Erice and Mothia. The capital Palermo and its many monuments are witness to the various cultures which have influences Sicily's past and are easily reached from here.
