Campeggio Polvese is an attractive camp site directly on the shores of Lake Trasimeno, in the green heart of Italy. It is an ideal base for exploring Tuscany and Umbria. The centuries old city of Perugia is not far from the camp site and is a revelation for culture lovers. But just a day shopping or a coffee in a stylish cafe is an experience in Perugia.

The camp site is noted for its large pitches, the excellent quality of its facilities and its hygiene. The pitches are spacious and shaded. On the lake there are moorings and a quay for boats, actually in the camp site. There is also a private beach where volleyball is played. There is a swimming pool for cooling down, and when you are getting hungry you can head for the restaurant which has excellent pizzas.

Besides the many places of interest in the area rich in history there is also entertainment from our own team. Themed evenings, for example a Mexican fiesta or a barbecue are supplemented by many sporting activities. There is a lovely playground for the younger children.
