Vienna is particularly famous for its Baroque palaces and stylish coffee houses (the Sachertorte comes from here!), but you will be amazed by modern Vienna with the museum and Hundertwasserhaus from the architect Hundertwasser.
Camp sites in Austria are most conveniently located if you enjoy visiting cities. You can combine camping in Austria with visits to the stunning towns of Innsbruck or Salzburg, not forgetting of course the capital Vienna. Austria is also worth a holiday if you love classical music: Salzburg is the birthplace of Mozart and Vienna is renowned for its opera and operetta. Camping Arlberg in the Tyrol is a special camp site geared to the camper who likes comfort. All campers have their own private bathroom in a bathhouse, a small wooden building right next to the caravan or motorhome. In your own heated bathroom: shower, washbasin, sink and toilet. Overindulgence? There\'s more to come; enjoy yourself in the wellness centre with a swimming pool, sauna, solarium, massages and cosmetic treatment! It is situated right next to the camp site. A wonderful camp site for a relaxing, healthy or sportive holiday.
The camp site is located in the middle of high Alpine peaks and famous wintersports resorts such as Lech, Seefeld, Leutasch and St. Anton. But this is also the place for a great summer holiday. It is a wonderful area for walking with one spectacular view after another. Other exciting activities are mountain climbing, rafting and horse riding.
Its location makes this an ideal stopover camp site en route to a holiday in southern or central Europe. Switzerland and Italy are close by.
Schluga Seecamping is located in the beautiful Austrian province of Carinthia by the Pressegger See, a lake with a water temperature of 28 degrees. By the lake there are nice sandy beaches and sloping lawns. The camp site itself is terraced and is attractively positioned at the edge of the woods.
The Schluga Seecamping together with Schluga camp site is part of the Schluga Camping World. You can make use of all facilities on both camp sites, including the extensive fitness and sauna centre. Schluga is really a paradise for children! Everything possible is done to keep the young guests happy. As well as a pony farm, minigolf and trampolines there is a special club for children from 2 to 14, the Topiclub. This arranges a complete programme of entertainment including babysitting which is included in the price. Daredevils can go rafting, mountain biking or rock climbing under professional supervision.
The area has a spectacular mountainous landscape which is ideal for cycling or walking. Most unusual is that the owner of the Schluga camp sites personally takes his guests on mountain walks along the hilltops in the area! This charming part of Carinthia is a few kilometres as the crow flies from the border with Italy (the region close to Udine) and also the north of Slovenia (Triglav National Park) is very close by. For a day in the city, Villach is about half an hour\'s drive from the camp site.
Olachgut camp site is a special holiday destination all year round! You will camp on a farm that is still in full working order. There are horses and ponies for an equestrian holiday! In summer you can enjoy the wonderful green countryside of the Styrian Alps, in winter Olachgut is the ideal base for wintersports enthusiasts. The Kreischberg ski area is just a few minutes from the camp site.
Camping guests in summer will have a lot of pleasure from the lake next to which the camp site is located. You can go swimming, sail a boat or just lie in the sun on the grass. You can also fish in the lake. Moreover Olachgut specialises in horse riding holidays. The horses and ponies on the farm can all be ridden and there are special facilities to make horse lovers feel at home. It is especially nice for children that this is a working farm, if they want they can lend a helping hand. there are plenty of animals: sheep, donkeys, fat-bellied pigs and of course ponies and horses. There is of course a playground on the site. The beautifully situated camping pitches are located in an open field or partly in the cool shade of the pine forests. Right next to the camp site there is a brand new 19 hole golf course. There is daily entertainment in summer with special activities for the children. You can get a bite to eat or have a drink in the informal restaurant.
This part of Austria, not far from the border with Slovenia will surprise you with its unspoilt and hospitable atmosphere. Thanks to its location on the southern edge of the Alps, Styria is one of the sunniest and warmest parts of Austria.
Camping in the heart of Carinthia! The cheerful family world of the Maltschacher See camp site is located among the green hills of this Austrian province. The camp site stands out in that respect: everything is done to make families with children feel really at home! There is a comprehensive children\'s entertainment programme and a 'Kinderland' with 150 m² of play, activity and acting areas. Seecamping Berghof is located in the heart of Carinthia, directly on the shores of the Ossiacher lake. You can camp here in the middle of nature in a truly idyllic mountain landscape with two lovely beaches by the water. Holiday Camping Leutasch is located in one of the highest valleys of the Alps, the Leutaschtal in Tyrol, just south of the German border (Garmisch-Partenkirchen and Mittenwald). The region is a paradise for hikers and lovers of the mountains. There are for example 450 km of well-marked hiking tracks in the area. But mountain biking and a round of golf are also a real pleasure here.

Alpenferienpark Reisach is located close to the town of Kirchbach in the Carinthian Gailtal valley. An iseal place for a healthy holiday in the countryside! The camp site is located at an altitude of 850 metres surrounded by the high Alps and not far from the Italian border. To put it another way, a wonderful and peaceful spot in beautifully natural surroundings.
The lovely natural swimming pool on the terraced camp site, with a shallow part for small children is fed by pure spring water! Those who love water can enjoy all types of recreation. A canoe trip for example or spectacular rafting with the whole family on the clear mountain streams. The Weissensee lake is not far from the camp site, well known for its ice skating races. In the summer it is a watersports paradise with beaches and surfboards and boats for rent. In the summer months the camp site is car-free.
But you are here of course to enjoy the Austrian mountains. The Gailtal valley at the foot of the Reisskofel (2371m) is wonderful for walking, or if you prefer more of a challenge, for climbing. Back on the camp site there is plenty of space for children to play with a playground and an original wooden mini chalet with real shutters. There is also a friendly restaurant furnished with plenty of wood in true Carinthian style. You will soon feel at home here!
Family-Camping Hafnersee is a real family camp site for nature lovers. You will camp in the idyllic Keutschacher Seental, in the middle of a protected natural area by a small lake: the Hafnersee. This is a special part of an already beautiful Carinthia in the south of Austria! The small lake has a natural beach and very clean water.
There is a large meadow by the lake on the camp site. There is also a landing stage and a small wooden swimming pool in the lake where young children can swim in safety. The whole place has an ambiance that breathes calm, beauty and relaxation. You can make use of the sauna, fitness room, solarium and steam baths in the adjoining Seehotel Hafnersee. There is also a bowling alley and a minigolf circuit.
The camp site is surrounded by dense woods and is situated in an area with countless lakes, including the enormous Wörthersee. A day out in a big town is no trouble: beautiful Klagenfurt is located a few kilometres away. Also the small town of Velden and its casino is close by. Above all, this part of Carinthia is very close to Italy and the north of Slovenia, the lovely area around the Julian Alps.
Camping with five stars! You can, at Seeblick Toni camp site in the Alpbachtal valley and the Seenland lake area close to Kramsach in the Tyrol! The camp site lies right by the Reintaler See with sunny lawns right to the shore. You can go swimming, sailing or fishing.
Children will have a wonderful time with the entertainment, the real Indian wigwam, the playground, the go-carts and the bikes. And whether you\'re talking about the fitness room, solarium, sauna, the shop or the sanitary facilities, all amenities are of the highest quality. An example: there is a special Kinder Waschland toilet block for children which has been converted into a sort of underwater world where you can imagine you are Captain Nemo! Over-indulged campers have the choice of \'standard\' pitches which are luxurious compared to \'normal\' camp sites, \'Comfort\' pitches and also static caravans for maximum 5 people which are called bungalows here, and 4 berth apartments in wooden chalets!
The Austrian Brantlhof family do virtually everything to make the camping guest feel at ease. You could not imagine a better host and hostess! Kramsach is located about 40 km northeast of Innsbruck in a very special part of Austria.
If you are looking for an idyllic camping holiday in the Tyrol, this is the camp site for you. Alpen-Caravanpark Achensee is located directly on a lake in a magnificent valley between the mountains. The views from the green shores where the camp site is situated are breathtaking. This is also the place for a healthy, sporty holiday. You will camp on spacious pitches of 80-100m² , the air is clean, the countryside around the Achensee lake is wonderful, in short a camp site to end all camp sites.

There is everything the spoilt wintersporter could wish for in the vicinity. A free skibus will bring you to the renowned ski runs at Christlum Alm (up to 1800 metres!) but there are more than 55 km of prepared pistes. Achenkirch on the Achensee is located south of the German border. 50 km northeast is the historic town of Innsbruck. You can reach the camp site via southern Germany without paying tolls via Holzkirchen and the Tegernsee beyond Munich.
Natterer See camp site is located in the Austrian Tyrol just 7 km from Innsbruck. The site is positioned on a plateau at an altitude of 830 m above sea level in natural surroundings with its own lake. You couldn't be more central in the Tyrol.
No time to be bored at Natterer See camp site, there is so much to do. there is a special entertainment team for the youngest children, the TOPI Kids Club. Besides this all sorts of tournaments and activities are organised for older children and adults.
If you want to relax for a day you can do so on the lawns by the Natterer See lake, and also in the restaurant on one of its romantic terraces. The terraced site has different types of camping pitches and you can also rent an apartment here.
