Camping Les Tours is delightfully located on De La Selve lake in the green Lot Valley in France. You can partake in many activities on the lake, such as canoeing and sailing. The swimming pools and slides on the camp site also provide much fun in the water for the whole family.
The entertainment team at the camp site offer activities for all ages, both during the day and in the evening. You can relax in the restaurant or bar. You can buy provisions and fresh bread every morning at Les Tours camp site. You have wonderful views over the lake from your caravan.
There are plenty of sights in the vicinity of the camp site. The River Lot in the valley flows through characteristic villages such as Estaing and Espalion. This area has a turbulent history. The many castles and Romanesque churches are reminders of this period. The delicious local produce and specialities are part of the good life, and something you really should try.
The easy-going Aux Rives du Soleil camp site is located right by the wide River Saône, just north of Mâcon. It is a peaceful camp site in the natural surroundings in an area of hills and vineyards on the borders of Rhône-Alpes and Burgundy (the river is the border between the two regions). There are no large cities in this rural area but many typical French villages and towns.
The camp site owners will do everything in their power to assist you. It is very peaceful in the evenings; this is not a camp site where discos or musical evenings are organised. Don\'t forget to bring your inflatable boat so you can float out on the river! The pitches on this level terrain are separated by hedges. There are two fields for passers by, a swimming pool, a playing field with apparatus and a separate, safe enclosed toddlers\' pool.
You can rent canoes here for paddling around or fishing. There are also bikes for rent for trips to Pont-de-Vaux (3 km) where you can sign up for a boat trip. There is a theme park within 25 km and all Francophiles will feast on the cultural delights of Burgundy!
La Mignardière camp site is located in the Loire valley, just outside the historic city of Tours so half way between Paris and Brittany. The site is the perfect choice for families with young children. The terrain is clean, level and enhanced by various types of shrubbery. When the children have had enough of the two swimming pools (one heated and covered), the toddlers' pool, the playground, tennis courts and the sports field, they will have to look further afield. Because just opposite the camp site there is a paradise for children: a play park with mini-toboggans, a miniature train, children's farm, water slides and ponies and traps. A bit further away is a park with a lake (for canoeing, surfing and fishing).
Tours and surroundings is a lovely area for a holiday, you are right in the middle of an area with plenty of history. Dozens of world famous castles line the Loire, including Villandry, Azay-le-Rideau, Chenonceaux and Chambord. The towns of Blois and Orléans are also lovely. Also recommended: a boat trip on the Loire!
Sun and sea go hand in hand south at Village Camping Spa Marisol! You can enjoy the restful surroundings under the South of France sun, and the 4 kilometre long sandy beach that be reached by three direct entrances. You can also enjoy the new, heated swimming pool with three slides. There is a separate children's pool, where hours of fun in the water are guaranteed. All facilities are available to campers from the very first to the very last day that the camp site is open! There is a large variety of activities at Village Camping Spa Marisol in both high season and low season, making the camp site perfectly suitable for couples and for families with young children. The camp site organises two festival weeks in spring. The theme for the first week of May is the circus, and in the days after Whitsun the theme is magic and the supernatural!
Camping Le Village Corsaire des Deux Plages is located just 200 metres from the Châtelaillon-Plage beach on the Atlantic coast in Central France. This is a real family camp site. Exciting for the children because the entire camp site is based around a pirate theme! The entrance to the grounds is \'guarded\' by a an enormous pirate ship that rises high above the swimming pool. There is a spacious terrace with sun loungers around the swimming pool which has tropical vegetation and a shallow toddlers\' pool. There is always something to do at the beach, and you are there in no time; just cross over the railway line. The sea goes out a long way at low tide allowing the children to play in the sand and hunt for crabs and shells.
Lively Châtelaillon is close by with shops, pavement cafes, restaurants, a disco, a casino and a picturesque harbour. For trips out you are right in the middle of the top tourist resorts in this region: the islands of Ile d\'Oléron and Ile de Ré, the resort of La Rochelle and the famous Fort Boyard right in the middle of the sea! So a perfect camp site for a beach holiday in the sun with plenty to see and experience.
Camping des Arcades is located in the most southerly and sunniest valley in the Lot (Midi-Pyrénées), in a hilly area full of vineyards. You will camp here in rural surroundings between the Lot, Tarn and Aveyron rivers. A beautiful place for exploring the Dordogne.
The camp site is actually a small estate around a 13th century water mill built from stone, which resembles a small castle. Around the mill: spacious camping pitches, a natural lake full of fish, babbling brooks and a shady wood. Children can play freely here in the middle of nature. The characteristic watermill that dominates the grounds puts you immediately in a French mood, you will immediately get that holiday feeling. Des Arcades is located in the unspoilt countryside of Quercy Blanc, just 10 minutes from the famous wine town of Cahors and not far from picturesque towns such as Montcuq and Rocamadour. A region with lively markets, wine tasting and other sunny activities, especially in the summer. Also a wonderful area for long walks.
Château de Grange Fort is in every sense of the word an unusual and very beautiful family camp site. If not just for its location! This camp site in the Auvergne is set on an old country estate around a 15th century castle on a hill. You can choose from natural marked out pitches or a field with unreserved camping. It will be hard to find a more beautiful spot in France!
You can cool down in the castle\'s lovely swimming pool while younger guests splash around in a separate toddlers\' pool. There is also a lovely heated indoor pool for the low season. The lovely, charming family camp site of Le Giessen is located on level grounds by a mountain stream and is well provided with trees and bushes. Le Giessen is set at the foot of the Vosges in the middle of beautiful countryside. An ideal destination for walking, cycling, paragliding and horse riding.
The nearby (municipal) leisure pool is free for you and your family to use. There are all types of children's activities and family games at Campéole Le Giessen. Food and drink are also well taken care of.

Taxo les Pins camp site is located in the famous holiday town of Argelès-sur-Mer in the South of France. Not far from the beach at the resort of Argelès-Plage (about 3km) on the Mediterranean. A tourist train departs several times a day from the camp site to the beach and to the centre of Argelès-sur-Mer. On the camp site there is a lovely complex with swimming pools connected by bridges, an island and a heated whirlpool. There is of course a separate toddlers' pool and play equipment for children. The camp site lives up to its name: you will find shade under the tall pine trees! The pitches are beautifully located in the greenery, as are the 6 berth static caravans. Camping guests can make use of the brand new luxury toilet block. You can laze around here but no-one need be bored. An enthusiastic team arranges an extensive programme of entertainment.
You will find plenty of amusement in the tourist town of Argelès-sur-Mer: pavement cafes, shops, discos, a cart track and excellent restaurants. But save a day for visiting Perpignan, capital of the southern part of Languedoc-Roussillon. Or take a spectacular drive right along the coast via Banyuls-sur-Mer to Catalonia in Spain (just 30 km!). You will give your children a treat by taking them to 'Aqualand' water theme park (6 km). In short, Taxo Les Pins is a lovely spot for a varied camping holiday in southern France.

The major Corsican ports (Bastia, Ajaccio, Porto Vecchio and Bonifacio) are served by various ferry routes from mainland Europe: Genoa and Livorno in Italy and Marseille and Nice in France.

Camping La Pergola has everything in house for a wonderful holiday in a lovely part of the Jura on the border with Burgundy! The camp site is located by a clear blue lake with a sandy beach, has excellent facilities and an extensive entertainment programme in high season. A great spot, especially for young families.
There are plenty of opportunities for sports or for keeping active, such as canoeing, sailing, windsurfing or pedalos on the lake, archery and volleyball on the camp site or walks in the beautiful surroundings! Domaine de Chaussy is located in the heart of southern Ardèche, a stone's throw from River Ardèche. This is a site for campers who enjoy an active holiday in the sun with all the works: water fun, a French ambiance, spectacular activities and pleasant pursuits. And in 2008 also with WiFi. The terrain has no fewer than 4 swimming pools including a special diving pool. The decoration in the swimming pool is most unusual. You can shower under a dolphin several metres high which squirts down water. And there are great slides!
For those who want them plenty of activities are organised, also under the auspices of an enthusiastic entertainment team. Aquagym for example, horse riding, walking, canoeing. mountain biking and quad riding. But you can also relax in the new wellness centre or enjoy a game of tennis or table tennis. In the evenings you can sit out on the attractively lit terrace by the bar or watch a comic performance by the entertainment team.
If you choose this region to discover the South of France you can go in all directions: the Ardèche itself and its renowned gorges, the Cévennes, southern Auvergne, the French south coast on the Mediterranean and lovely old towns such as Valence, Orange and Montélimar!
This lovely family camp site (or should you say \'4 star holiday centre\'?) is located just outside famous Pénestin and only 2 km from the Brittany coast. A great place to be because the south coast of Brittany has almost as many sunshine hours as the Côte d\'Azur and Pénestin\'s beaches rank among the best in France Slightly to the north is the idyllic Gulf of Morbihan, a nature reserve scattered with islands, fishing harbours, lighthouses and vantage points in the rocks.
Back at the site there is a lake for exciting canoe trips (canoes can be rented locally) and there is a lovely swimming pool and toddler\'s pool. The water slide ends up in its own pool. Alongside the lake is a large sports area where games and tournaments are regularly organised. There is a games room and playground; perfect for the children who won\'t be bored for a second!
The surrounding area is not short of anything; medieval walled Guérande is full of atmosphere. You can take boat trips in the protected Gulf of Morbihan, which is really one big bird sanctuary. Added to this you have world famous menhirs of Carnac (upright stone monoliths), dozens of fishing villages and bays with excellent beaches!
La Nublière camp site is situated on the shores of the famous Lake Annecy at the foot of the French Alps. A fantastic area for a camping holiday, with mountains, water and a wonderfully mild climate. You can walk straight to the beach from the level grounds, unless you prefer to take your towel and lie on one of the lawns. Either way you will have wonderful views of the lake and the enormous mountain peaks. It\'s only a few steps to the restaurant for a drink, an ice cream or a snack.
You can rent surfboards or sailing boats or go water skiing in the little harbour close by. If that\'s not exciting enough there is rafting and parasailing close by. Many flights are made by delta wing and parachute from the slopes on this side of the lake.
You must not miss Annecy; a beautiful historic centre with small bridges, flowers on every balcony, quaint shops and excellent restaurants. It\'s more peaceful in the mountains; wonderful walks, rock climbing or mountain biking! Doussard is located on the south side of Lake Annecy, so the highest peaks in the Alps such as Mont Blanc are only a short distance away in the direction of Ugine, Megève and Bourg Saint Maurice.
This lovely family camp site is located on the Atlantic coast close to the towns of St. Nazaire and Nantes. The sea, beach and centre of the village of La Bernerie-en-Retz are within walking distance. You and your family will have no time to get bored here. The camp site has a water paradise with slides, jacuzzi and a children's area with a play island. The deckchairs invite you for a lovely relaxing day's swimming.
There is an entertainment programme for young and old and you can get a drink at the bar. If you don't feel like cooking you can get a takeaway meal. Sports enthusiasts can play a game of tennis on the courts. You can also play jeu-de-boules and table tennis. The Atlantic beaches are just 400m away. There you can take a swim in the sea and learn to sail at the sailing school. At low tide you go fishing for mussels and other types of shellfish.
There is lots to see in the area. Enjoy the fishing villages in the area. Or visit Noirmoutier aquarium. You can also explore the islands or visit the salt museum in Batz.
The camp site is named after the most famous tourist attraction in Normandy: the world famous Mont St. Michel. This monastery built on rocks in the sea is just 8 km away! The Saint Michel family camp site is located on level grounds and a brand new reception, shop and restaurant were added in 2005. The sanitation is clean and well maintained and there is a swimming pool for a refreshing dip. The children will enjoy themselves in the playground and with the electronic games.
The flat landscape in this part of Normandy close to Avranches (Basse Normandie) lends itself perfectly to active holidays. You can take endless walks and cycle trips along the coast with ever changing views You can even rent bikes at the camp site. By car you can soon be in the popular resort of Granville with its wide beaches, and in Cancale, famous for its oyster farms. The old town of St. Malo on a rugged rocky coast with lovely beaches and the lovely castle at Combourg are not far away. An area to fall in love with: camping in Normandy on the border with Brittany.
Mar Estang camp site is located right on the Mediterranean, not far from Perpignan. The area is exceptionally beautiful at the furthermost point of the resort of Canet-plage and directly next to the protected Canet - Saint-Nazaire nature reserve, famous for its thousands of pink flamingos. You will find a lovely wide beach just outside your door.
There is a beautiful swimming pool complex with water slides in the camp site. There is also a fitness room, beach club and entertainment for all ages! There are special clubs for younger children (6-12) and for teenagers. Not to mention a supermarket. There is also a kiosk. You can enjoy good Catalan specialities in the restaurant if you don't feel like cooking. You are here in the South of France but the local population think of themselves as Catalan and are proud of it. Catalan is spoken here.
There is also plenty to do outside the camp site. There are lovely towns in the vicinity like Collioure (a real artists' village), Argelès sur Mer and the capital of this region, Perpignan. Inland you can marvel at the mountainous landscapes of the Pyrenées Orientales, together with typical mountain villages, Roman temples and Catharen castles. A bit further away you have medieval Carcassonne. Even Barcelona in Spanish Catalonia is not far away. A lovely spot for a varied holiday with sun, beaches and culture!
Besides normal camping pitches there are also special places for motorhomes. You can rent three different types of static caravans including a compact 2-4 berth type and two luxury types for a maximum of 6 people.
Camping Le Bois Soleil is a sun-drenched and peaceful camp site a short distance from the beach and close to the woods. The camp site in the Loire is located five minutes from the resort of Les Sables d'Olonne, with lively streets, restaurants and shops.
This is wonderful camping between the sea and the woods at Le Bois Soleil. The camping pitches are separated by hedges and the trees provide the necessary shade. Or you can choose to rent a static caravan here.
Camping Le Bois Soleil has both indoor and outdoor swimming pools with three slides and a paddling pool. The children can have fun in the playground and take part in the activities programme. There is a bar and supermarket and if you don't feel like cooking you can get a takeaway meal. You can explore the surroundings on a rented bicycle. There is a lovely bird sanctuary next to the camp site.
One of the Loire region\'s loveliest camp sites! The location alone makes l'Ile d'Offard camp site unique. Positioned on an island in the River Loire it looks out onto the splendid Samur Castle high above the camp site! Cross the bridge and you're in the historic city with street cafes, restaurants and shops.
The camp site itself is level, with varied shrubbery and a minigolf course, playground and restaurant-bar. There is regular entertainment for children so there is always something fun to do.
Bikes can be hired locally for interesting bike rides. Off you go to the National Equestrian School, the Tank Museum or Samur Castle. Or to the cave dwellings, the Toadstool Museum and naturally the River Loire. You can hire boats and sailing boats in the area. Reward yourself en route by sampling a glass of Loire wine from the local farmer!
Les Vikings is a family camp site in Normandy, in Basse Normandie to be precise, the region around the harbour town of Cherbourg. You can camp just 400m from the sea. The beach in this part of the west coast of France is made up of powdery sand. If you prefer, there is always the swimming pool with its terrace and sun loungers at the camp site itself. The level terrain is well looked after, and excellent meals are served in the restaurant and on the terrace. Les Vikings looks after the needs of the children. There is a games room, playground and sports field as an alternative to fun in the water.
You are in an area that is not just interesting for its nature, Normandy has a chequered history. The D-Day troops landed in this area in June 1944 and there are many interesting museum devoted to this. If you want you can even take the ferry from here to Jersey, which is much closer to France than to England. A tourist train will take you to Barneville, but the best way to discover the Normandy landscape is by bike on the cobblestones. Enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside or cycle to the castles of Bricquebec and La Haye-du-Puits.
Domaine des Bans is located in the heart of the Vogues at an altitude of 560 metres and offers all the advantages you could wish for to make the holiday unforgettable for the whole family. Here you will find a lovely water park with slide, wild water rapids and a jacuzzi, perfect for keeping the children occupied all day long. Another source of water fun is the large lake on the site where you can go canoeing, and several lakes in the vicinity. Fishing is permitted in some of these. The camp site is also a great place for a sportive holiday. You can play tennis and beach volleyball here, go cycling, horse riding and there is a multi-even sports field. Plenty is organised for the children and they can have fun in the various playgrounds, the children's\' disco and the playroom.
Domaine des Bans is the perfect base for exploring the spectacular (mountain) landscapes of Alsace and Lotharingen. Be sure to visit a silver mine on your day out and the spectacular La Volerie des Aigles bird of prey show in the medieval castle at Kintzheim. It is also beautiful here in winter!
Camping Les Bö-Bains is located in a beautiful spot in sun-drenched Dordogne, right on the Dordogne river and between the tourist toppers of Bergerac and Sarlat! A friendly, tidy and natural family camp site with excellent facilities.
The grounds are not that big and have a feeling of intimacy. The swimming pool is attractively built with a separate shallow pool for young swimmers and there are water slides. All around this is a spacious terrace with sun loungers for sunbathing and parasols if you prefer shade. There is plenty of space for children to play and they will be sure to meet others of their own age at the playground which has trampolines. Canoe trips on the river are organised from the camp site. Also recommended: spectacular trips by quad bike around the area.
Don\'t miss out on a visit to the lovely small beaches by the river, the town of Belvès, Castelnaud Castle and the world famous caves at Lascaux. Complete prehistoric wall paintings have been discovered at Lascaux. Both at the camp site and in the surrounding area you will have the sort of holiday in the South of France that you deserve!
The Yelloh Village Port de Plaisance camp site is located in southern Brittany 1 km from the Atlantic coast. It is a friendly family camp site in the renowned resort of Bénodet. A central point (not far from Quimper) to discover the charm and beauty of the rugged coastline, the lovely beaches and the unspoilt nature. You can camp here just a stone\'s throw from the French capital on a camp site just outside Paris, close to the suburbs of Neuilly-sur-Marne and Nogent-sur-Marne. Camping Le Parc de la Colline is located in Torcy in a quiet spot on the River Marne, in an area with several small recreational lakes. A few small islands lie just off the coast of this headland and can be visited by boat. One island is a totally protected natural area.

A camp site in the heart of the Auvergne, on the edge of Des Volcans nature park with the famous, green volcanoes which are so typical of this area. Camping Le Clos de Balanède is located in Châtel-Guyon, about 20 km north of Clermont-Ferrand and the smaller town of Riom. The level camping grounds have pleasantly shaded pitches and are very natural. There are three swimming pools on the camp site, including a shallow toddlers' pool.
