Camp site Sikia
Camp site Sikia - Kato Gatzea (Pilion), Thessalia Sporades
Sika camp site is situated right by the sea on the green headland of Piliongebergte, on the sunny Aegean coast in the east of Greece. You are immediately in the Greek atmosphere! You will camp under centuries old olive trees; a number of pitches have views of the sea. Just what you imagine from a holiday in Greece; intimate bays where you can look out over the rock formations and where the sea is a deep blue! The grounds are laid out in terraces and the abundant vegetation make them very attractive. You can walk from the site to the lovely child friendly beach or to the small bay with a pebble beach where there is great snorkelling. The liveliest place is the cosy taverna and the restaurant on the beach. You can try out the local specialities here and music is played by the light of lanterns in the evenings with performances by traditional Greek dance groups. A wonderful warm atmosphere for a sunny holiday! If it's luxury you're looking for, we recommend the lovely apartments. They are built in traditional style and sleep 4. If you still want to get away from your paradise, there are plenty of opportunities in the area, such as boat trips to the island of Skiathos, by bus to the market in Volos or a ride in the restored steam train on the Pilion railway.
