- How does the Suncamp holidays affiliate programme work precisely?
- After you have completed the contact form your website will be evaluated in terms of appearance and technical aspects. Once it has been approved you will receive all possible technical references. All these links that are provided by Suncamp holidays include parameters to recognize a visitor coming from your website. When a customer clicks on the link placed by you on your website, Suncamp holidays can find out which website this visitor is coming from.
Because links are the only tool which Suncamp holidays uses to measure the traffic, you must use these exactly as they are provided. The links are not supposed to be adjusted, because otherwise the numbers of visitors and reservations can’t be measured. - Do I earn commission on all products offered by Suncamp holidays?
- Suncamp holidays pays commission percentage of the total price of each reservation of a camping holiday, a camping tour or a stopover hotel (excluding reservation or amendments costs, electricity and cancellation insurance).
- What commission rate do I earn on a reservation via my website?
- Suncamp holidays pays commissions according to categories with a fixed number of reservations. Before starting the cooperation an affiliate will be categorized according to the expected number of reservations per booking year. Commission payment takes place monthly and is based on the number of realized reservations in the previous month. After the end of the booking year a total settlement will be made based on cancellations, honoured and not honoured advanced bookings and the total number of reservations per year.
- Which category is my website assigned to at the beginning of a booking year?
- At the beginning of an agreement each partner is assigned to a given category with a corresponding commission rate. For new partners it’s going to be a category which fits the best the average number of visitors that was given by them. Partners who participate in the programme longer than a year will be assigned on the basis of their achieved results in the previous booking year. At the end of a booking year a total settlement will take place based on each realized reservation (minus cancellations and not honoured advanced bookings). Each partner will be then categorized anew according to the total number of bookings and the new amount will be levelled with the amount already paid.
- When are the commissions paid?
- Within 10 business days after the end of a month you will receive (per e-mail) a statement. Payment of the amount given in the statement, will take place within 14 business days after you have received the statement.
Cooperation
- Do I have to pay for participation in the Affiliate programme?
- No, you don’t have to pay for participation in the Affiliate program. Suncamp holidays will pay you every time a visitor to your website books a holiday at Suncamp holidays.
- How can I check if my website may participate?
- After you have completed the form (see: Affiliate programme in the Contact menu), your website will be evaluated. Within 4 business days you will receive an e-mail if your website is eligible for participation. Generally, all holiday related websites can participate in the Affiliate programme without problems.
- When can I participate?
- In order to evaluate your website you need to fill out some information. Click here to sign up for participation in the Affiliate programme.
- May I put links of other tourist companies on my website?
- Links to websites of other companies operating in the area of camping tourism may be put on your website. However we think that the Suncamp holidays’ varied offer surely can fulfill the wishes of customers visiting your website.
- What are the possibilities if I manage more than one website?
- Traffic that is generated via another website of yours can be measured separately. In this case you can fill in the address of the other website at the bottom of the participation form. Bookings made via all participating websites will be added up and paid together.
You will receive per account, also if the number of participating websites within it concerns more than one, single (1) statement. Also you can view statistics of all websites that take part as one (1) account on a special page with your own login information.
Reporting and monitoring
- Can I see what the achieved result in the meantime is?
- Yes, it is possible. Once your website has been approved to take part in the Suncamp holidays Affiliate programme, you will be provided with login information in the form of your own username and a password. This information will be provided together with all possible links per e-mail to every account owner. There can be one or more websites active within one account.
- Can I view statistics of my account?
- Yes. Your personal login information allows you to view your statistics 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
- What shall I do if I want to update my account information?
- Send an e-mail directly to the person within Suncamp holidays that you had earlier contact with. In addition to your personal information, you can also make changes to your e-mail address to which a copy of every booking will be sent.
- What kind of information is given in the statement?
- In the statement, which you will receive monthly per e-mail, Suncamp holidays lists the total of realized bookings, the holiday price and the commission that is calculated on each holiday price.

- Which content does Suncamp holidays make available to refer to?
- Within the Suncamp holidays Affiliate programme you will receive a number of different options in order to directly refer to particular content. You are free to use all the offered options. However you are strongly requested to refer only from the website which you have entered for participation.
Suncamp holidays provides links that directly refer to:
-the total offer (a map with countries from the offer);
-the available offer for each country separately;
-the available offer per region in the following countries: France, Spain, Italy, Croatia, Greece, Hungary, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Holland, Belgium and Luxemburg;
-the offer of stopover hotels;
-the current special offers. - Where do I put links to Suncamp holidays ?
- You may put the links in every relevant place within your website. Needless to say, placing the links in a prominent place on your website can eventually lead to generating higher commission.
- Should the link to Suncamp holidays be equipped with an update?
- In case you have put a text in the link or in the content feed, you are kindly requested to check if the content of the text is correct. The text will be most probably devoted to the current offer.
In 2006 the offer consists of 200 camp sites in France, Spain, Italy, Croatia, Greece, Hungary, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Holland, Belgium and Luxemburg; - Can I directly refer to the information about a specific camp site?
- Suncamp holiday doesn’t provide links that directly refer to the information about camp sites. It is not possible because otherwise there is no more control over the part of the offer that is promoted, and over the part that is not promoted.
General enquiries
- What are the responsibilities of participants in the affiliate programme?
- As an affiliate you are not responsible for a customer who via your website books a camping holiday at Suncamp holidays. Suncamp holidays is 100% responsible for taking care of the payment and customers’ potential complaints, as well as for taking care of the booking.
We advise you to put the links provided by Suncamp holidays at a relevant and prominent place within your website. You can also launch a direct promotion campaign via other websites or online media in order to increase the number of visitors and the number of bookings. - Can my website be hosted abroad?
- Yes, your website can be hosted abroad. Suncamp holidays doesn’t set conditions as to who you choose as a provider of your website.
- Does Suncamp holidays promote my website?
- No. Promoting your own website is your (administrator’s) job.
